Sizing is awful and not true to fit. I am universally a size 18 in both high street, high end and in between stores but that size did not fit at all. Far too small. Such a shame when you want to try to support a small business.

Lovely dresses I’m usually size 18 ordered 20 and 22 wrap dresses,sizing not right both couldn’t fasten
Maybe some elastic on sides or back for some stretch like the sleeves .
Am I the only one with this problem,I would love to buy more clothes from Joanne but unfortunately the sizes are not right for me

I am a repeat customer. I ordered an item of clothing that began to bobble horrendously and I had not had it even a year! They told me nothing they can do as they had had no other issues from any other customer. I can see from other comments on this thread that this is a LIE. the t shirts are also horrendous quality for what you pay! Expensive for shein quality

Nonsense, customer service don't answer after you reply, so what's the point of emailing!!
Customer service admitted the item was faulty, therefore I am owed a refund
I expect clothes to last more than a year so I don't add to the Fast Fashion culture
You say you had no other complaints, this page is full of them yet you keep telling us no one else has complained

I ordered 2 dresses, one in the sale. Both are amazing and super quick delivery. I know I will be buying more.

I did not receive what I ordered, neither type or size. I contacted the company and they offered a refund, but have not issued saying they needed postal receipt. I supplied postal receipt several times. They then shared my name in a comment online.

The dress I wanted for my sons wedding wasn't in stock, I was way too slow procrastinating (silly me) so I contacted Cate at customer services and she tripped over herself to make sure I have that dress for the wedding and I don't look like a frumpy mother of the groom any more and she sent me a waaaambulance to stop my whiny email. All within 24 hours! This is what's important, a company with real people who care about helping customers and provide a tip top professional service with a smile too. Thank you for stocking the Dawn Porter range, it rocks!

I placed a last minute order for 2 dresses to take with me on holiday, one for daytime and one for evening and I'm so pleased that I did. Both dresses are fabulous quality and so well made which is getting rare these days! The fit is also perfect and I am delighted with my order. I will definitely shop with you again, thank you so much !!!

Recently ordered the Venus and Finette dress, love the fit and quality of all Joanie dresses. I now have quite a collection. Amazing brand values and efforts in becoming a more sustainable brand for such a small business. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

I bought a tea dress from Joanie, one of many in a long line of orders. Within a couple of washes it was literally falling apart. I probably got less wears of it than I can count on two hands. When I emailed Joanie explaining I was a loyal customer and I believed this item to be faulty, they flatly refused to help as my order was several months old. Whilst I respect a normal 28 day policy, this was faulty. I've totally lost confidence in what was a favourite brand.

A dress that disintegrates within a few washes is not sustainable. It is the epitomy of fast fashion, which is not what I expected from Joanie. You dismiss my honest feedback because you hadn't previously heard the same from other customers? Surely there has to be a first customer to bother telling you ?‍♀️

Got myself one of the new Horrockses dresses - really pleased with it. Montana Gingham shirt dress. Usually size 10, got a 10, might’ve got away with an 8. Nice features like a thin linen type lining, and a concealed button on the waist of a centre button dress so no gaping. Top notch quality. Looks great with white trainer/canvas shoes. Quick delivery.

My last order was terrible, I've ordered Purdita dress (the one with rainbow design) and it was for the second time, first time I've ordered according to the size chart that was provieded from the website and the dress was supposed to be roomy as well, but it turned out small. It wasn't supposed to have happened. Joanieclothing team replied and refounded me the price of sending back the item, in those terms they were very helpful. So I've ordered a size bigger this time, as was suggested by their team, and it turned out too big. Also I had issues with quality, there were a lot of loose threads in the buttonholes , so once you unbotton it they are pulled, same thing when putting the dress on. One of the threads pulled so much that it ruined the front of the dress. Obviously I'm sendig this dress back too. i only hope that it was a one time occurance and that it doesn't happen with other dresses.
Won't order any more dresses from this website, will stick only to tops which are amazing and I'm always amazing by their quality and design. So those I can reccomend.
P.S. I think their designs for dresses are made for tall people too, so if you're petite they won't suit you at all
P.S. The've replied and I was told that I would be refunded, gave away the dress to charity

I picked up some clothes in the last clearance. The red leopard print dress with shoulder frills gets soooo many compliments at work. It's been about six months and it has washed really well, no sign of wearing. The other music note dress is a bit weird as it has a separate petticoat and makes me look a bit frumpy but it's comfy around the house. I've just ordered some more clothes so hoping they will be just as comfy and hard wearing. I'm size 8, 164cm. Sizing seems fine to me.

Absolutely love Joanie clothing! The first place that I've found in a long time that offers the styles that I like. I've ordered a lot recently and have been happy with about 90% of purchases. The only gripe I have is I ordered all my dresses in a 14 and one (which was so lovely so I'm extra disappointed) simply did not fit on the top half, very odd cut indeed. But the only problem I now have is my bank balance will suffer after discovering this store. All great quality products. Also any shop that has pasta shapes on their clothes is all good with me.

Lovely clothing you can’t find anywhere else! Very happy with my dresses, the sizing and quality is great. Will be returning!
